Labyrinth

I am no Labyrinth expert,. In fact, the whole labyrinth idea has come from my sister (if not in law, at least in spirit) who, with pendulum in hand and a peacefulness in heart, explored our farm for the centre of its energy - for the place that the labyrinth wanted to be. She visited before the horses arrived on the farm but it has been amazing to me to see the horses drawn so consistently to the place designated as our labyrinth land. From their first day on the farm up until today, the labyrinth site remains a firm favourite for the horses. What makes this even more interesting is the fact that, as spiritual beings, horses are naturally drawn towards positive energy. there are other species which, for one reason or another, are not so drawn to that positivity and no so detered by negative energies. 

So, our labyrinth is being begun and being built. The reason? Well, I am kind of unwilling to wax lyrical about something that I know very little about. All I can say is that, from a personal point of view, I hope the Labyrinth will enable me to further my spiritual awareness and growth. I hope it will give focus to the farm and our existence on the farm. I hope it will draw together all we are trying to achieve here and consolidate it with its powerful energy. I hope it will help me find greater, deeper rapport with my horses and my husband.

From a more expert point of view, a labyrinth is a symbol of wholeness and the path we embark on to the centre of that wholeness symbolises our spiritual journey through life.
